Seeing Red

Back when Firecracker's kindergarten class had their red day a couple weeks ago, we all dressed up in red.  For "Preschool Time" I loaded the kids in the stroller and we went on a "Red Hunt."  Seth looked for things in our neighborhood that were red.  Then I helped him hold and frame the picture while he clicked the button.  I helped him notice some of these things, and he surprised me with some of the things he noticed on his own.  (Not surprisingly, he noticed a lot of tail lights on cars.)  Here's some of what we saw on our Red Walk.

On a different day, I also read The Red Lemon by Bob Staake as recommended my Christianne from Little Page Turners.  We also read Pinkalicious and the Pink Drink by Victoria Kann the same day and made Strawberry Lemonade to go with our lunch.  The kids loved the stories and the pink/red lemonade!
