Felt Pepperoni - Felt Food Cook Along Day 5

Okay, so these hardly merit their own post.  You could figure these out on your own, but I do have one tip that might save you some time...and this is pretty much my last night to work on felt food for Firecracker's birthday because we're going out of town for the long weekend.

If you're sewing along, you should have a basic pizza after today.

Materials:  Dark red or brown felt, scissors, needle and thread or sewing machine, something small and circular to trace.  I used a measuring spoon, but a quarter would work pretty well too.
  1. I wanted 6 pepperoni pieces, so I just traced and cut out 6 circles.
  2. Then I pinned those circles onto more felt, and sewed around the edges with a straight stitch.
  3. After they're sewn, you can cut around the circles again and you're done!
By only cutting out one side of the pepperoni to begin with, you don't have to worry about your pieces slipping or stretching just a bit while you sew.  (Yep!  That's my fancy tip.)

If you're just joining us, be sure to check out the list of felt food we've already made over there in the right column and link up your own play food projects here.

Just a warning, there might not be a Cook-Along post tomorrow because I don't know if I'll get it done before we go out of town.  If not come on back and check on Monday!
