Oranges are coming...tomorrow...

I'm a little more than half way through the tutorial to make these orange slices, but alas it's time for me to go to bed, and I'm a middle school math teacher tomorrow.  (Yeah...I get to sub something I love!)

So come back tomorrow for the tutorial.  In the mean time, go eat a real orange.  They're full of vitamin C.  Then go check out The Skinny

It's my sister's blog full of healthy eating tips.  While you're there, you can check out my Frugal Food Friday posts where I share some of my favorite healthy eating tips and recipes.  She is also having a giveaway of some awesome reusable snack bags that closes TONIGHT so hurry!

Then take a look at what I made Firecracker and Sweet Pea this weekend.
Their skirts and the T-shirt embellishments were made from an old pair of my cords that got a hole in them...and it was easy...and it doesn't take a pattern...and the pictures don't to justice to the cuteness of the skirts.
So sometime in the next week or so I'll get a tutorial up for those two along with the applique pattern.  I'm a sucker for my girls wearing matching clothes...and the only way I can afford it is to make them.  (And don't pay attention to the messy bedroom.

  1. Darling pictures of the girls in their new outfits! So clever and creative. Love Firecracker on the monkey gym. And the oranges are amazing - can't wait to see how you make them.

  2. Love the outfits! My girls are 8.5 years apart so finding them matching clothes can be a challenge. I'll have to go through my old pants now!
