This was my Morning...

Firecracker has been sick for several days.  She came home early from school on Friday with a fever and had a fever off and on all weekend.  Yesterday morning she threw up, and while I was getting her cleaned up in the bathtub, I heard the pitter-patter of little feet running back and forth between the kitchen and Little Brother's room.  When I finished washing Firecracker's hair, I came out to find Sweet Pea and Little Brother with chocolate all over their faces and hands.

Here's what happened when I asked Sweet Pea about it...

Now honestly...our morning wasn't too bad.  As far as a barfy kid goes...this was nothing compared to the last time she was sick.  After feeling lousy all weekend, she got her appetite back last night.  I'm not sure if she's going to go back to school for a couple hours today...or more likely I'll just keep her home to rest up.

For as messy as the two kids were...I didn't find chocolate on anything else.

And for those of you who haven't ever been introduced to the deliciousness of Nutella...well...it's delicious.  We don't buy it often...because when we do, it's all the kids want.

And check back in a bit for today's read-along posts.

  1. You can't really blame them... Nutella is YUMMY!

And I hope Firecracker is feeling better and that they saved some Nutella for her!

  2. I Looooooove Nutella! Sweet Pea is so cute. I realized that I haven't been around her since she's been able to talk.

I hope Firecracker gets better soon. Poor kiddo getting sick :( I guess that's what happens when you go to school, you get sick more often. Send her lots of love!
