Eleven Years Ago Today...

...I married my Sweet Heart.

We'd met 2 1/2 years earlier as freshman at BYU...where we dated a little...
( hair really does look that bad.  It was an accident.  I promise!!)

...and a little more...

...and a couple months later he left for two years to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Mexico.

(That's him in the airport getting ready to fly to Mexico.)

...while I kept working on my degree at BYU while living with some awesome roommates...and wrote him lots of letters...

...until he got home and we got married.

Since then, we've had our ups...

...and downs...

...but we're still living our happily ever after.

Love you, Eric!

  1. Happy Anniversary. It's mine too, I made a post earlier this morning "Five years ago." Great minds think alike (and get married April 21st).

  2. Happy Anniversary! I love seeing people's wedding pictures! My college had formal events too!

  3. Happy Anniversary! Thanks for sharing all those cute pictures!

  4. Happy Anniversary! Oh, sweetie, your photos made me smile :D....I married my best friend almost 42 years ago...the day after my 18th birthday...we joined the Church 9 years later, and were sealed for eternity a year later...5 children and 17 grandchildren now testify to being a part of a lovin' eternal family....and I'm still lovin' the journey with my gorgeous hubby! Love your blog! x

  5. Happy anniversary! It's so fun to see pictures!

  6. I remember that happy day! I noticed how much Becca's smile is like your smile in your wedding photo. And it made me laugh that Eric is wearing a Pi shirt in the photo by the burned car, too. :) Happy Anniversary! The card is in the mail...we had a good (long) drive to Utah today for Bryan's graduation.

  7. Found you from 733 Blog!

    LOVE the pi shirts!!
