Groundbraking!!

Yesterday as I was getting Firecracker ready to head off for school, I saw a truck pulling this big digging machine out to our property. 

An hour or so we walked over and discovered they've finally started breaking ground!!

We had our first snow the night before, and they just painted the lines right over the snow.

Some friends warned us that as they started framing up the house it would seem really small...and they were right...
...especially next to the house they're building next door.

It will be two story though, and at 2000 square feet the largest place we've lived in yet.
It's going to be fun to watch them put it up. :)


You can't tell from the pictures, but we'll be living even closer to the elementary school when we move.

We're excited!!

    Hooray! That's funny about the pink lines in the snow...a good time to pull out "The Cat in the Hat Comes Back." :)

    Yay! 2000 square feet sounds like a mansion to me, as long as you share it with people you love :)
