Simple Sewing Headband and Giveaway Winner!

We've been doing more Simple Sewing around here!

Becca chose the Knotted Headband this time around.  She was just so cute sitting at the machine that I had to snap a few pictures.  That's her using her knee instead of the foot pedal because her feet don't reach.

Oh, to be a pre-schooler and excited about pulling out the pins!

As promised by the book, it was fast and easy, and Becca is really excited with the result.

And for the record, this was one of the most static-y days ever in the house.  Her hair looked better before I tried brushing it.

She's told me several times that it's for HER and that her sister is NOT to wear it.  She did let Anson wear it for a little while...although sadly, we have no pictures of that.

And I wanted to announce the winner of the Simple Sewing: 30 Fast and Easy Projects for Beginners (affiliate link)...Congratulations to #25 Jessica!  Katie will be contacting you for your address and her publisher will be mailing your book soon.

If you didn't win, you can order Simple Sewing: 30 Fast and Easy Projects for Beginners here (affiliate link), or stop in on Katie's book tour for other chances to see projects from her book and win a copy...and that offer I made earlier about sending a little pack of I-Spy Square if you decide to buy the book is still open.  You can see this post for more details.

  1. How adorable! Just think how much she will know about sewing by the time most girls even think about learning to sew.
