Easy Mummy Wrapped Halloween Letters with Oly*Fun

It's past time to be breaking out the Halloween decor, so I needed something quick to spruce up our entry way. I happened upon these cardboard letters while I was out shopping and figured they'd be perfect with a little Oly*Fun added.

They only took about 15 minutes to put together.

You'll need:
  • Oly*Fun.  I used white, but it comes in lots of fun colors.  (Note: I was compensated for this post and provided with Oly*Fun by Fairfield World to come up with fun projects for you.  All thoughts, ideas, photos, and opinions are my own.  Fairfield just plain makes awesome stuff.)
  • Cardboard letters (available at just about any craft store.  I picked up mine from Wal-Mart)
  • A glue gun and glue sticks

Getting started:
Cut your Oly*Fun into thin strips. The more rounded your shape, the thinner you'll want them to be.  I didn't measure mine exactly and I wasn't super careful or neat cutting them.  They were between 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch wide.
Glue the end of your strip to the back of your letter.  If you're using a high temp gun like I was, you'll want to let the glue cool slightly before attaching the Oly*Fun, so you don't melt it.
Once the glue has cooled, start wrapping your letter.

When you reach the end of your strip securely glue it to the back of your letter.  Then start again with another strip.

Before you know it you'll be finished!
