Borrowed Cuteness

When we were in Utah for Hubby's family reunion, we stopped by to see my sister Katie who blogs over at Notes from a Very Red Kitchen.

Due to several nights of sleep deprivation from hanging with family a a ton, I forgot the diaper bag with the kids extra clothes when we went to my sister's.  Hence my kids had to play at the park in their church clothes.

Sweet Pea was getting super frustrated trying to climb things in her dress because it was too long, so she got to borrow some of Cousin O's super cute, handmade clothes.  Katie made this adorable little shirt not too long ago, and trusted us enough to borrow it.
Thanks Katie!  You can see this cute shirt and along with another cute one she made here.  The shirt was so cute, I decided to try my hand at this style when I got home.  After a couple of wonky shirts, I think I finally have a decent pattern worked out.
As you can see, Boy had no issues with getting down and dirty in his church clothes.

  1. I love those shirts - wish I could have figured out how to make things like that when you kids were little! Can't wait to see the kids again!
