Pumpkin Pi Tie

Okay...so this isn't my best work.  I won't go into all the things I could have done better with this one, because frankly it's good enough.

Whenever I go to Goodwill, I always look for solid color ties crying out for some paint.  This brown tie was screaming.  I mean, it's high class polyester.  So even if I've had some freezer paper stenciling turn out better...this tie still is about infinity times cooler than it was before I got my hands on it.

Eric posed in this tie for me, even though as we know from here, he's not great at giving posed smiles...but those pictures turned our blurry and I don't want to wait to take new ones.

If you want to make your own Pumpkin Pi Tie, you can download the printable pattern here...which is the same as the Pumpkin Pi Onesie pattern, except that it's smaller. :)

And if you love math enough to consider making a Pumpkin Pi Tie, you'll definitely want to enter my current giveaway for a Pi Necklace from Boutique Academia.  The giveaway is open until March 18th at 12:00am.
