WIP Wednesday - Hearts, Halloween, and Bundles to Come

I've been working on a lot of different projects lately...in every stage from just thought out in my head through finished, but not photographed, but don't have the pictures taken right now to share any particular project, so I thought I'd share a few projects I'm working on this week.  I just wrapped up my most recent I-Spy swap, and even though I hadn't planned on starting another I-Spy quilt, but the girls and I were having so much fun sorting the new squares.

...it just kinda happened...
I've got the top finished, but this is just a small part of it.  I'll share the rest when I've got it all quilted and bound and sent off to the recipient.  (I won't be doing another I-Spy Swap for a while, but you can sign up to be notified of the next one here.)

I've also been trying to get a head start on some Halloween costumes.  No finished pictures yet, but here are a few sneak peeks...any idea what costumes these will turn into?

And a few weeks ago, my fabric area was getting so messy that I just had to organize it.  I was also getting fabric bundles ready to for a charity quilt day.  I generally sort my fabrics by color and then the also store my I-Spy fabrics seperately.  Some of these fabrics I'd intended to use in I-Spy quilts, but then realized they belonged in a quilt of their own...so these fabrics have been pulled out and stored in bundles together.

I'm still debating on patterns for most of these...

Marty Goes to Mars (affiliate link) plus some Kona solids...

All sorts of different fabrics from my stash...some newer...some have been in my stash forever...
These bats have already been turned into...
...  this fun modern Halloween quilt.

And some of my favorite Rocket Launch Club Children at Play fabrics.  They're getting hard to find, but the blue rockets can still be found here.
And I pulled out some coordinating fabrics to match these fun pre-cut owl themed bundles from You Keep Me in Stitches.  Once I get started on these, I know they'll be quick finishes to send to the children's hospital.

Then there are also these pretty polka dots from Quilt Sandwich to be made into a quilt for my niece.

And I'm really getting antsy to start turning these pretties from Sisters and Quilters into something fun and cozy for Christmas...

And with all these pretty projects that need to get started...I'll be scoring SAT essays for the next two weeks...but these can be my reward once the scoring projects are over.

  5. I love your I-spy heart. It looks great. I can;t wait to get my squishy package :). You have so many projects in the works and I am excited to see how they all turn out. I am able to sew again so I better get working and get the big projects done while I can in the next two weeks, after that it will be only small projects for a couple months which is perfect time to piece an I-spy top.
