Slytherin fans, your quilt is here! It's been a long time in coming. I was excited to get my first Slytherin Quilt order a while back. I'd been wanting to make one for quilt a while. I'd been keeping an eye out and collecting some rich green and silver fabrics for my 4-House Hogwarts quilts for a while.
If you're the DIY type, you can find the pattern for my Single House Hogwarts Quilt Pattern here or if you'd like me to do the sewing, I sell custom-made Slytherin Quilts here.
If you're visiting from Happy Harry Potter at RaeGun Ramblings, please use code HAPPYHARRYHALFOFF to get $5 off the purchase of one of my quilt patterns or SLYTHERIN10 for 10% off quilts and other items from either my Harry Potter Etsy Shop or my Pieces by Polly Quilts Shop. I think the silver metallic snake print fabric was the perfect addition to this quilt. (Would you believe that it sold out just about everywhere almost as soon as it came out?)
And my oldest daughter who loves to dabble with the idea of being a Slytherin was happy to help me take pictures...and a little sad this quilt didn't get to stay at our house. (You can find the tutorial for her Wand Circle Skirt here.)
I do love making the 4-House Hogwarts Quilts are my most popular quilt ordered in my shop, but there's something special about fans who are passionate enough about their chosen house to really want to exhibit their own house colors and honest enough they're a Slytherin at heart.
Because of course we know that Slytherins have their good sides. Slytherins know what they want and and have the ambition and cunning to to achieve their goals. Regulus found and tried to destroy the locket horcrux. Draco in the end was not able to kill Dumbledore. Slughorn fought to defend Hogwarts and Snape (even though we love to hate him) saved everything.
So kudos to all you Slytherins who have enough self awareness to know who you are, and enough honesty to proudly admit it.

Polly, I hope people take advantage of your coupon code for the patterns. My Hogwarts Crest quilt I made for my daughter-in-law turned out really well. She adores it. And, I learned lots about applique from the quilt with your clearly written instructions. I'm a happy customer!
